Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Assistant in the Subacute Unit plays a vital role as an unlicensed assistive personnel. This position involves aiding patients with daily living activities, delivering basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and ensuring a safe environment under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA upon hire and maintenance of certification.
  • Preferred: Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology is preferred.
  • A minimum of six months of experience in an acute care hospital setting is required.
