We are currently in search of a Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic Corporate Division.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The main focus of this role involves the analysis of inventory metrics, vendor quoting, order placement, and management of inventory for structural steel stock items. This position requires close collaboration with both our internal sales teams and purchasing department to support ongoing and new business initiatives. The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting inventory analysis for structural steel replenishment
  • Obtaining quotes from suppliers
  • Processing and confirming purchase orders
  • Expediting materials and managing order updates; coordinating delivery schedules
  • Maintaining and updating pricing lists and various reports
  • Verifying invoice pricing accuracy
  • Addressing non-conformities
  • Creating product codes within the ERP system

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will be a self-driven and organized professional, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment. Strong prioritization skills, consistent follow-up, and effective communication are essential. Experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting is highly desirable. A college degree in business is preferred, along with a minimum of two years of experience in a procurement role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook) is also required.
