Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
  • Serve meals or prepare for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature, and is attractive and tasty.
  • Taste all prepared food items to ensure quality and presentation.
  • Use established ticket collection procedures during service and maintain accurate records from the area worked during service periods.
  • Clean the kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and store or discard excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed and report any needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
  • Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required, and assist in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as needed.
  • Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers, and perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
