About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team at Country Meadows Retirement Communities. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and support.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with residents by getting to know their preferences, special accommodations, and personal interests.
  • Prepare dining rooms for meals and maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Assist residents with menu selector sheets and properly clean and sanitize dishes and silverware.
  • Perform floor maintenance in the dish room, kitchen, and dining areas.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Entry-level, no prior experience required.
  • A positive customer service attitude demonstrating respect, friendliness, and willingness to serve others.
  • Ability to work and collaborate well with others.
  • Multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.
  • Ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.
