Key Responsibilities

The CT Technologist collaborates effectively within a multidisciplinary team and is accountable for producing high-quality imaging. This role supports the Radiologist by assisting in both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The CT Technologist is also responsible for the processing and transmission of images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Preferred: One year of experience in acute clinical radiology.
  • Required: Proficiency with both mobile and stationary Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology is essential.
  • Graduation from a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) is necessary.
  • Possession of a Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as mandated by state regulations.
  • ARRT Certification in Cat Scan Technology is required.
  • Must maintain Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification as per AHA standards upon hire.
  • Proficient computer skills are essential for this role.
