About the Role

Essity is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at our paper manufacturing site in Middletown, Ohio. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on process equipment to improve area process reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on process equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Learn and apply new technologies, processes, and equipment to improve maintenance operations
  • Collaborate with operations teams to troubleshoot equipment and process issues
  • Develop and maintain documentation of maintenance activities, including drawings, diagrams, and bill of materials
  • Perform corrective maintenance on process equipment to optimize equipment life and reduce downtime
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance and operations leadership, subject matter experts, and vendors to achieve maintenance goals
  • Participate in improvement projects to reduce maintenance costs and equipment failures
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, including on-the-job experience, certified training, and education
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Experience with pumps, pipefitting, roll alignment, rigging, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
