Job Title: Paving Water Truck Driver

At Allan Myers, we're committed to building infrastructure that connects cities and towns. As a Paving Water Truck Driver, you'll play a critical role in our heavy civil construction projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive a truck equipped with water and tack, ensuring proper levels on all equipment assigned to you.
  • Conduct daily pre/post trip inspections to maintain maximum vehicle safety conditions and report any issues to the shop immediately.
  • Apply knowledge of commercial driving regulations and road conditions to safely transport water and tack to predetermined destinations.
  • Work closely with paving crews to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Maintain accurate truck logs in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policy.
  • Communicate any problems with traffic or site conditions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Comply with all aspects of truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repair as outlined in the Truck Driver's Handbook.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred or related work experience.
  • 1-2 years of CDL driving experience with a GVW of 33,000 pounds or greater.
  • Tanker endorsement required.
  • In compliance with all DOT physical requirements.
  • Valid Class B Commercial Drivers License required.
  • Hazmat experience preferred but not required.
