Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general custodial services, including cleaning and detailing conference rooms, offices, cafeterias, and common areas.
  • Use proper equipment and supplies to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Remove trash and recyclables, and replace plastic trash bags as needed.
  • Dust and polish equipment, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Clean tables, microwaves, and other high-touch areas.
  • Vacuum carpets, sweep, mop, and deodorize floors.
  • Clean walls, arrange furniture, and clean window blinds.
  • Use correct chemicals on all surfaces and fill dispensers as needed.
  • Maintain quality of work and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 0-1 year of work experience in custodial services.
  • Ability to follow instructions on labels for proper and safe use of chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ability to follow structured processes and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and respond to questions and requests from customers and others.
  • Human relations skills to build effective working relationships.
  • Availability to work evenings and flexibility with schedule changes.
Work Environment

Work is performed in an office environment or at customer locations, such as commissaries, federal courthouses, or military bases. Employees may be exposed to toxic chemicals, noise from equipment, and varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
