Certified Phlebotomist

Pride Health is seeking a skilled Certified Phlebotomist to join our team at a medical facility in Laguna Niguel, CA. This is a 9-10 month assignment with the possibility of extension or conversion.

• Location: Laguna Niguel, CA 92677
• Duration: 9-10 months Contract
• Shift: Mon - Fri 7 AM-4 PM /PST
• Payrate: $20-22/hr. on w2

• Maintain a safe and professional environment
• Perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures
• Verify patient demographic info / initials including patient signature post-venipuncture to verify tubes were labelled in their presence and that the name on the label is correct
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public in general

• Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include paediatric and geriatric
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
