About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Financial Solutions Guide to join our team at Elevations Credit Union. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional account services, financial guidance, and value-added financial solutions to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exhibit passion for Elevations Credit Union and demonstrate our core values of Integrity, Respect, Passion, Creativity, and Excellence.
  • Engage members using our Personalized, Elegant, Accurate, Kind, and Timely (PEAK't) Service model, with care, professionalism, and the highest level of service to explore relevant solutions and refer to internal partners as identified.
  • Originate all consumer loan type applications, analyze credit reports, and cross-sell relevant consumer loan Elevations products and services.
  • Handle account maintenance needs, such as opening and closing accounts, online banking support, fee refunds, and other transactions, including processing account deposits, cash handling, withdrawals, and payments.
  • Develop and foster professional relationships with members and within the community to increase member acquisition and generate revenue.
  • Demonstrate operational excellence through adherence with established policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Adhere to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations governing the Credit Union, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
Requirements
  • Bilingual English/Spanish speaking required, with a $120/month bilingual bonus after passing an aptitude assessment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of financial institution experience.
  • 1+ years of lending experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Current notary or receives certification within 90 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Consumer and business lending experience.
  • Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CUFCC).
Work Environment

This role operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment. A personal smartphone is required for employment with us.

Physical Requirements

This role requires sitting frequently, walking occasionally, using hands frequently, hearing constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally, and up to 25 lbs of force infrequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.

Classification and Compensation

This is a part-time, 3/4 time role, with 30-35 hours per week. The anticipated hourly rate is between $22.82 and $28.49, plus an annual bonus.
