Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement product design strategies to meet customer needs and market demands.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, test, and launch new products, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborate with production, marketing, and sales teams to ensure product feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and customer demand.
- Forecast operating costs and direct budget preparation for the department.
- Provide technical guidance and support to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends, identifying opportunities to improve operations and develop recommendations.
- Participate in new product gate reviews and ensure proper documentation and customer needs are met.
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and career development opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, advanced degree desirable.
- 5+ years of experience in product engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent leadership and project planning skills, with the ability to adopt new technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, as well as SAP and CAD/CAM software.
