We are a leading provider of home care services, dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our clients. As a Healthcare Recruiter, you will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to join our team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Healthcare Recruiter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting interviews and screenings to identify top candidates
  • Reviewing resumes and cover letters to ensure candidates meet our requirements
  • Developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Building relationships with candidates and ensuring a smooth hiring process
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and hiring processes

Responsibilities

The Healthcare Recruiter will be responsible for:

  • Running ads and recruiting staff for vacant positions
  • Screens prospective staff by conducting face-to-face interviews, running criminal background checks, and verifying licensure and credentials
  • Verifying that all employees meet medical requirements for employment prior to assignment
  • Assembling all personnel and medical files of staff upon hire and forwarding to HR for maintenance
  • Studying organization plans and goals and meeting with managers to discuss needs and develop recruiting requirements
  • Attracting applicants through job advertisements, newsgroups, and job sites
  • Suggesting policies and practices to enhance organization attractiveness
  • Identifying alternate candidate sources and verifying candidate references
  • Negotiating and offering selected-for-hire candidates and obtaining recruiting managers' approval
  • Researching and attending job fairs, conferences, and recruitment opportunities
  • Locating healthcare professionals through various sources, including the internet, referrals, nursing schools, direct mail, and job fairs
  • Evaluating candidate resumes against position requirements
  • Facilitating the hiring process, which includes interviewing and screening candidates
  • Building applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites
  • Developing and updating job descriptions and job specifications
  • Onboarding new employees to ensure a smooth transition
  • Acting as a point of contact and building influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Promoting All American Home Care's reputation

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a recruiting and/or scheduling position
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office products, and a pleasant phone voice and manners
  • The ability to work independently with good judgment and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior staffing and recruiting experience is preferred
  • The ability to speak Spanish is required
