RN Float Pool PRN Day Position

This role provides direct clinical patient care to patients on a per shift basis, assessing, planning, and implementing care to assigned patients. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated and is accountable to support the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
Responsibilities:- Provides direct clinical patient care to patients on a per shift basis
- Assesses, plans, and implements care to assigned patients
- Supervises staff to which appropriate care is delegated
- Supports the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
- Ensures competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care
- 1-2 years of recent experience in the service line of interest
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing
- Graduated from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited school
- Academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's degree) preferred
- Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; CPR
