The Service Operations Manager will be accountable for the overall functionality of the Service Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage the repair and maintenance operations for diesel engine vehicles, ensuring the effective functioning of service facilities.
  • Collaborate closely with the Fixed Operations Manager to enhance departmental growth and make strategic decisions to ensure financial success.
  • Establish, track, and analyze performance metrics related to revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and nurture a robust customer base and maintain strong relationships.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Organize and allocate work schedules, assigning specific tasks to team members.
  • Communicate company policies, procedures, and departmental objectives to staff effectively.
  • Partner with the Training Department to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols.
  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism in all interactions with employees and customers.
  • Conduct regular meetings to promote team engagement.
  • Focus on team retention and development.
  • Set and pursue goals for training and advancing technician skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven supervisory experience in Truck Service is essential.
  • Familiarity with Procede is highly desirable.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on processes and excellent time management capabilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities and a professional demeanor.
  • Capacity to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, vendors, and team members.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
