IT Application Specialist

As an IT Application Specialist for Preparation Process, you will oversee the deployment and technical support for preparation process-related information systems in the Americas zone. You will work closely with the industrial sites and the central team in France to manage the deployment of preparation-related applications in American plants (SIPION, TBL2).
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct or pilot feasibility studies: possible solutions, costs, deadlines, risks.
Do or manage integration studies, investigate requests for changes related to deviations by respecting the entity management process.
Participate in the installation, testing, and commissioning of software applications in your domain and in the training of teams in collaboration with your industry partners.
Guarantee that all required validations (CI, RF, RC) are obtained after the phases of realization, installation, commissioning, and fine-tuning of the applications deployed.
Insure the coordination of on-site interventions with your partners of industry and other métier (Automation, Mechanical, IT Infrastructure).
Provide the necessary documentation for the integration, operation, and maintenance of the application to the plant IT teams.
Guarantee your SMQDCP commitments and ensure compliance with the regulations defined in the context of the SI vulnerability.
At the end of the deployment, update the documentation according to the changes following fine-tuning or modifications of the application configuration and capitalize best practices in the generic deployment plan.
To ensure applications business continuity, you will ensure for the preparation applications, the technical and functional support according to the support process of the entity.
Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent work experience.
Familiarity with Windows server administration.
Experience with database administration, including SQL.
Empathic and articulate communicator; vertically and horizontally across the organization.
Exposure to GitLab and Ansible would be a plus.
Experience in preparation or tire-building process would be a plus.
