Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Groomer to join our team. As a Groomer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch grooming services to our patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the process. You will work closely with our veterinary team to provide comprehensive care and maintain a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Admit patients, noting client instructions and ensuring a quality outcome
  • Determine veterinary services required during client visits and provide care in accordance with hospital operating instructions
  • Observe patient appearance and activity for signs of illness, disease, or discontent
  • Perform bathing services, including shampooing and drying, and grooming services, including brushing, clipping, and trimming
  • Stay current with new techniques and trends in grooming and provide education to clients
  • Provide medication and general cleansing, parasite control baths, pedicures, and ear cleansing as required
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including grooming rooms and yard
Requirements
  • Full-time experience in animal care or veterinary services
  • Ability to work on weekends
  • Experience with grooming and caring for animals
  • Previous veterinary experience preferred
  • Client satisfaction references preferred
