We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. As a RN Dover FSED PRN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, communicate effectively with patients and families, and ensure seamless transitions of care.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to prioritize patient care, manage emergencies, and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends in emergency nursing.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of safety, respect, and open communication.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) with a commitment to pursuing a BSN.
- Current RN license in the state of New Hampshire or valid compact RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 1 year of hire.
- Newborn Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 1 year of hire.
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification within 3 months of hire.
- Neurological Institute of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale certification within 45 days of hire.
