We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Key Holder to join our team at Little Words Project's Roosevelt Field location. As a Key Holder, you will play a vital role in helping to run the store, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and embodying our brand's values of positivity and kindness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to drive team performance and achieve sales goals
  • Open and close the store independently, ensuring a seamless customer experience
  • Manage in-store beading appointments and facilitate special events, such as in-store parties
  • Monitor and maintain store inventory, communicating product needs to the Inventory Lead
  • Coach and support new and existing Sales Associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
  • Introduce new products to customers and provide personalized recommendations based on their needs
  • Effectively handle customer issues and answer questions related to merchandise and store policies
  • Process transactions accurately on the POS system
  • Maintain a tidy and well-stocked sales floor, ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers
  • Assist in maintaining backstock and setting up merchandise on the sales floor
  • Perform operational tasks, such as inventory intake, visual merchandising, clienteling, and KPIs
  • Assist customers at the bead-your-own bracelet table by tying their bracelets
  • Fulfill in-store custom orders by beading bracelets and contacting customers when the order is complete

Key Qualifications

  • 2+ years of retail experience, with a focus on customer service
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team
  • Desire to be creative in terms of the beading table and capturing content
  • Problem-solving attitude and ability to work independently
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays
  • Passion for learning and sharing Little Words Project's core values
