Job Title: Christian Educator

Visions of Victory is seeking a dedicated and passionate Christian educator to join our team of professionals in Fredericksburg, VA.

Our Christian educators are committed to providing a nurturing and educational environment for students, rooted in biblical principles. They strive to develop children both spiritually and academically, making our school a top choice in the region.

Responsibilities as a Christian Educator:

  • Manage the classroom and implement school procedures.
  • Plan engaging lessons and assign homework.
  • Evaluate student work and facilitate group activities.
  • Select curriculum materials following Academy ABEKA guidelines.
  • Meet with students individually to improve performance.
  • Hold conferences with parents as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
  • Ensure the holistic growth of children.
  • Plan and oversee daily activities.
  • Support children during lunchtime and outdoor activities.
  • Record attendance and incidents.
  • Clear tables after lunchtime.

Requirements:

  • Coursework in early childhood education or child development preferred.
  • Prior teaching or childcare experience desired.
  • Pass background check and obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and use a computer proficiently.
  • Effective communication skills and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Passion for working with children and building rapport with parents.
  • Comfortable with using technology in the classroom.
