Our administrative team consists of experienced Dialysis RNs, with over a third of our skilled workforce having dedicated an average of 20 years to our mission.
We are currently offering both Full-time and Part-time Registered Nurse positions. Join our supportive team at our Hampden Neighborhood Dialysis clinic, which features 21 stations and operates Monday through Saturday. Full-time employees typically work between 36 to 40 hours each week. While prior dialysis experience is advantageous, we are committed to training the right candidates. The Registered Nurse is responsible for administering hemodialysis treatments to patients with renal failure, adhering to IDF's policies and procedures as well as all relevant regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing nursing tasks as directed by physicians or assigned by the Charge RN.
- Delivering patient care in a secure, confidential, and respectful manner.
- Utilizing interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships.
- Collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Being accountable for all delegated nursing care activities, assessments, interventions, and ongoing evaluations of the patient's response to the nursing care plan.
- Accurately documenting patient observations and data in the electronic medical record.
- Responding appropriately to alarms from dialysis machines and other equipment.
