Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Management Business Solutions. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining medical laboratory equipment in the greater Birmingham, AL area.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, service, and maintain medical laboratory equipment, including hematology, chemistry, and coagulation analyzers.
  • Establish and maintain good customer relationships, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Coordinate problem resolution with the Field Support Group, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of technical issues.
  • Maintain a well-stocked vehicle with tools, parts, and other necessary equipment.
  • Provide basic on-site training to customers on the operation of company instrumentation.
Requirements:
  • Certificate or AAS degree in electronics or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer, with a strong background in electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
