At RWJBarnabas Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator to join our team. As a Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and advancing the clinical services of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the clinical skills and involvement of the pharmacy staff to meet the requirements of core measures and medication management standards.
  • Work closely with the Director and Assistant Director to ensure patient care is provided safely and in a quality manner for all patient age groups.
  • Assist with developing and contributing to the pharmacy department's quality assurance and improvement measures.
  • Coordinate clinical pharmacy activities, collaborate with physicians and nursing staff, and develop a pharmacy staff development plan and educational competencies.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, laws, and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Completion of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college/school of pharmacy.
  • Current New Jersey licensure required.
  • Residency completion and/or board certification in a relevant specialty are required.
  • At least 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience and 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Familiarity with all phases of hospital pharmacy.
  • Working knowledge of public health matters.
  • Familiarity with Federal and State laws regulating professional and hospital practice of pharmacy.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree is highly desirable.
