We are seeking an experienced Metal Finishing Operations Technician to join our team in Alabama, USA. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of parts and products, utilizing different operations such as grinding, buffing, trimming, and chemical treatment.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of prior work experience in manufacturing or operations, preferably in a metal finishing environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and knowledge of quality inspection metrology tools, standard operating procedures, and Lean Manufacturing principles is desirable.

This is a full-time position offering a comprehensive benefit package, including a competitive salary of $43,000 - $53,000 per year, depending on experience. In this role, you will be responsible for completing all required training, maintaining work areas, tools, and equipment in a clean and organized condition, and detecting faulty equipment or defective materials. You will also follow designated safety rules and regulations, support Lean Manufacturing and EHS initiatives, and perform dimensional inspections using various tools.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with occasional exposure to noise and must be able to handle/adjust/inspect/position various items and equipment. The ability to communicate and exchange information with others is essential, as is the capacity to distinguish and detect information such as writing and defects.
