Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and monitoring patient progress.
  • Collaborate with our medical staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Participate in daily interdisciplinary patient rounds to discuss patient progress and develop plans for continued care.
  • Develop and implement educational programs for patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Connecticut RN license.
  • BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
  • Associate degree required, BSN preferred.
  • BSN required and labor and delivery experience.
  • Two years of Medical-Surgical/Critical Care experience preferred.
