Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Architect to join our team at Inspire Medical Systems I.

Responsibilities

As a Cloud Security Architect, you will provide technical leadership in designing and implementing secure cloud-based systems and digital products. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the security of our cloud systems and digital products.

You will lead threat modeling, security reviews, and assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them.

In addition, you will engage in security architecture, design, and code assessments to ensure that our designs meet or exceed implementation, testing, scalability, and maintainability best practice guidelines.

You will also translate technical findings from security assessments into relevant, actionable information for development teams.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Software, Computer Science, or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of similar experience, including cloud and mobile product development experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of system security principles, including threat modeling and risk management processes
  • Broad knowledge of a wide range of cloud system and mobile apps and a deep understanding of the inherent security risks associated with these technologies
  • Experience implementing security mitigations using cryptographically strong security primitives such as AES and ECC
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
