Research Opportunities

The Pietras and Marquez-Garban lab at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking talented Postdoctoral Scholars to contribute to the development of new targeted therapies for breast and pancreatic cancer.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement research techniques, including cell and molecular biology, flow cytometry, and Western blot assays.

Conduct studies on dysregulated myelopoiesis in breast cancer and work independently on research projects designed with mentors.

Collaborate with the research team to develop and adapt research techniques and implement them in the lab.

Document research results and write reports for presentation and/or publication in professional journals.

Assist in maintaining the functionality and operations of the Principal Investigator's laboratory.

Requirements

An M.D. or Ph.D. is required. No prior experience as a Postdoctoral Scholar is necessary.
