About Us
Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center is a prominent 881-bed quaternary care academic medical facility, a collaboration between Baylor College of Medicine and CHI St. Luke's Health. Located within the Texas Medical Center, our institution is home to the Texas Heart Institute, a leading cardiovascular research and education center established in 1962 by Dr. Denton A. Cooley.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Providing care for 4-6 patients per shift in our adult inpatient unit specializing in epilepsy monitoring, neurology, and neurosurgery.
- Administering medications, changing dressings, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring timely documentation.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) within two years of hire.
- A minimum of one year of RN experience.
- An active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred: One year of experience in neurology as an RN.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $52.80 per hour.
