Laboratory Histology Specialist

Stability Direct is currently in search of a Laboratory Histology Specialist to join our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
As a vital member of our laboratory, you will:
- Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the histology department.
- Provide essential laboratory services across various patient demographics, including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
- Ensure compliance with all laboratory protocols and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience as a histology technician.
- ASCP certification as a histology technician.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word and Excel, along with basic statistical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are advantageous:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline.
- Certification as a HT or HTL (ASCP).
- Two years of supervisory or management experience within a histology laboratory.
Work Schedule:
This position requires a commitment to a 40-hour work week, with an 8-hour shift. Weekend and on-call duties are not required.
