Paraprofessional Educator

Job Overview:
The Moorhead School District 152 is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paraprofessional Educator to provide instructional support services to students in general instruction or specialized subjects. As an integral part of our educational team, you will work closely with teachers to motivate students to develop skills in assigned subject matters while supporting appropriate conduct, speech, and attire.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in education, child development, human development, learning, or behavioral management. A minimum of two years of experience in a similar position is required, with a graduate degree in a related field being highly desirable. Your ability to assist students in accomplishing instrumental activities of daily living and health-related functions will be valuable assets in this role.

In addition to your teaching experience, you must be able to redirect and intervene in behavior as necessary. You will perform tasks identified within assigned students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring that each student receives the support they need to succeed academically. The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year.
