At Raytheon, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing FPGA designs for various vendors and device families, including AMD, Intel, Microchip, and Lattice. You will work with VHDL and Verilog coding languages and have experience with tool flows in Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, or Microchip Libero.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop FPGA designs for major vendors and device families
  • Work with VHDL and Verilog coding languages
  • Experience with tool flows in Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, or Microchip Libero
  • Collaborate with circuit card designers and systems engineers to develop requirements and architect devices
  • Perform code development, simulation, and place and route
  • Verify designs against requirements using directed test and constrained random methodologies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM major
  • Experience with VHDL or Verilog coding
  • Experience with one of the following FPGAs: AMD/Xilinx, Intel/Altera, Microchip/Microsemi
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
