COVID-19 Vaccination Policy:

Option Care Health mandates that all employees be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Acceptance of a position is contingent upon proof of vaccination or an approved medical or religious exemption. Position Overview:

Compensation starts at $25.00, with a sign-on bonus available.
Under the guidance of a licensed Pharmacist, this role is essential in facilitating efficient and precise pharmacy operations in line with Option Care Health's policies and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prescription and Equipment Management

- Validate and process basic prescription refill requests in accordance with company policies.

- Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies.

- Support equipment maintenance through calibration, inspection, and cleaning, while reporting any issues to the supervisor.

2. Patient Support and Engagement

- Gather and maintain essential patient information to ensure accurate planning of materials, equipment, and prescriptions.

- Foster a positive patient experience by addressing inquiries and fulfilling basic requests.

3. Inventory Control

- Receive and verify incoming supplies and materials.

- Organize and store new supplies while monitoring expiration dates.

- Identify shortages and manage inventory through precise data entry.

- Schedule routine patient deliveries.

4. Site and Supply Maintenance

- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work surfaces and equipment.

- Organize and maintain supplies efficiently.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not entail supervisory duties.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 0 to 6 months of relevant experience.
  • Licensure or registration within 6 months of hire (if required by state).
  • Successful completion of the designated training course within 6 months of hire (if required).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in healthcare or as a pharmacy technician is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • Capability to lift at least 30 lbs.
