Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders in the Asheville area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to improve speech articulation, language comprehension, and swallowing function.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, educators, and caregivers, to ensure holistic care and support.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (or eligibility for certification).
- Valid Alabama state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- IEP experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience with AAC devices is preferred.
