Job Title: GI Scope Washer Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented GI Scope Washer to join our team at Stark Ambulatory Surgery Center. As a GI Scope Washer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the preparation of equipment and supplies used for endoscopy scope reprocessing.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare equipment and supplies for endoscopy scope reprocessing in accordance with standards and policies.
  • Assist with patient flow and maintain accurate logs of scope reprocessing maintenance.
  • Order reprocessing supplies and send out scopes for repairs as needed.
  • Clean and disinfect endoscopes and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Provide flexible staffing hours to meet patient care needs and assist in other areas as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • One year experience in an endoscopy environment preferred.
  • Experience as a sterile processing tech preferred.
