Police Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Police Officer to join our team at Workforce Connections, Arkansas Department of Commerce. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order, protecting the public, and enforcing laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect crime
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed
  • Investigate crimes and gather evidence
  • Make arrests and issue citations as necessary
  • Provide support to the community through educational programs and outreach
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 20 1/2 years old
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have no felony convictions
  • Must pass a background investigation, physical agility test, and medical examination
