Communication Specialist for Students

Position Overview:
AnthroMed Education is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services on a temporary basis. This role focuses on supporting students with considerable communication challenges, contributing to a nurturing and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver both direct and indirect speech and language interventions to students facing significant communication barriers.
- Work in partnership with the interdisciplinary team and educators to achieve the speech and language objectives set for the students.
- Assist in the creation and execution of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for each student.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate speech requirements and pinpoint areas needing improvement.
- Gather and analyze data to track student progress and modify treatment strategies as needed.
- Provide training for staff and community members regarding communication disorders.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Communication Disorders.
- Eligibility for IDFPR licensure in Illinois.
- Eligibility for a Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois.
- Preferred experience in K-12 educational settings, especially with students who have significant communication needs.
