Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at GeorgiaGov. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic patient care and support individuals to develop daily living skills.
  • Take vital signs and document accordingly in the Electronic Medical Record.
  • Ensure safety and security of individuals, observing and documenting data as needed.
  • Prepare individuals for treatment and assist with daily living activities.
  • Under direct supervision, learn to provide basic patient care and work with patients/clients to develop daily living skills.
  • May take vital signs and receive additional training to gain full proficiency and experience in all areas.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work under direct supervision and learn new skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of patient care and support principles.
