About the Role

We are seeking a skilled EKG Technician to join our team at Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. As an EKG Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiovascular department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrocardiogram (ECG) tests on patients to diagnose and monitor heart conditions
  • Operate and maintain ECG equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable results
  • Collect and analyze ECG data, identifying any abnormalities or irregularities
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide accurate information and support
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Current certification as an EKG Technician or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in ECG software
