We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Morningside House Senior Living, a leading assisted living and memory care community in Laurel, MD.
Job Summary:The Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for residents, guests, and staff. This role requires attention to detail, excellent culinary skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and menu plans.
- Work efficiently in the kitchen to ensure timely meal service.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and safety standards.
- Manage food inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies.
- Collaborate with the Director of Dining Services to ensure seamless meal service.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Food handling and sanitation certifications a plus.
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
