Pediatrician Opportunity in Coastal South Carolina

Medicorp, Inc. dba Physician Empire is seeking a pediatrician to join their team in coastal South Carolina. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with advanced practice providers (APPs) and have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

  • The pediatrician will work in a clinic setting, seeing patients and collaborating with APPs to provide comprehensive care.
  • The typical schedule will be Monday through Friday, with 4.5 days of clinic time and 0.5 days of administrative time per week.
  • The pediatrician will be responsible for seeing 25+ patients per day, with 30 minutes for new patients and 15 minutes for follow-ups.
  • Call will be 1 and 5 o'clock based on clustering of providers in neighboring clinics, with providers receiving texts and call back information so they can review charts/results/etc. on average 1 week of call every 6 weeks.
Financial Package/Benefits
  • The pediatrician will receive a base salary, plus WRVU bonuses, with production bonuses available based on WRVU calculated on an annual basis.
  • The contract length will be 3 years, with a 10% administrative reduction that can be used if productivity is consistently below the base salary.
  • The pediatrician will also receive a signing bonus, paid after 30 days of employment, as well as paid time off, CME time off, CME stipend, retirement plans, paid malpractice and tail, medical, dental, and vision insurance, short and long-term disability, and life insurance.

  • The Grand Strand is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike, with a variety of entertainment options, including Ripley's Aquarium, Brookgreen Gardens, and Myrtle Beach Pelicans minor league baseball.
