Electrical Engineer: Physical Detection Specialist for National Security

About the Job
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with expertise in physical detection to join our team as a National Security Specialist. This role involves providing advisory and assistance services to a government client focused on chemical and biological defense.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise in chemical and biological threat detection/identification science using passive or standoff detection methods.
- Understand capability gaps and assist in setting project- and product-level strategy and priorities.
- Coordinate complex technical, programmatic, and strategic responses to support division initiatives.
- Create communication products for technical and senior leader audiences.
- Review proposals, technical reports, and statements of work to ensure technical validity.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in science and technology program management, a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, and active Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret clearance.
