The Marshall Health Network is seeking a highly skilled Operative Room Sterile Technician to join their team. This full-time position will be working with the Endoscopy Department, providing essential support in maintaining a sterile environment during surgeries.
As an Operative Room Sterile Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Obtaining and distributing sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment in the OR
- Preparing and restocking case carts for procedures
- Distributing case carts to designated areas
- Returns unused supplies to the central supply area
- Assisting in the cleaning, preparation, packing, and sterilization of instruments for use in the operating room
In addition to these tasks, you will also assist as needed in various other duties assigned by the hospital. To be considered for this role, candidates must have graduated from an accredited OR Sterile Tech program, with preference given to those with experience and/or certification.
We are looking for a candidate who possesses excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of direct position-related experience as an OR Sterile Tech.
This is a salaried position with an estimated annual salary of $62,000 - $75,000 based on national averages and location. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
