Job Title: Local Class A P&D Truck Driver

A. Duie Pyle is seeking a motivated and experienced full-time Local Class A P&D Truck Driver in Burlington, VT. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $33.85 and a range of benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a day cab tractor pulling a 32', 40', 45', 48', or 53' trailer to various customer locations.
  • Perform lift gate deliveries, including unloading and loading at stops as needed.
  • Ensure the security and safety of the tractor and freight, adhering to all FMCSA safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Build relationships through excellent communication with customers.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
  • Valid Hazmat endorsement.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent tractor trailer experience.
  • Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • No more than three moving violations and/or accidents within the last three years, subject to review.
  • Ability to communicate effectively; must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance.
