Job Summary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for AcqDemo Business and Technical Management Career Path (NH). The Budget Analyst position is assigned to the Program Executive Office, Command Control Communications-Tactical Network (PEO C3T), PMO TACTICAL RADIOS (6LB) BUSINESS MANAGEMENT DIVISION. The job is open to The public U.S. Citizens, Nationals or those who owe allegiance to the U.S.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate, present, and execute the annual operating budget.
  • Execute actions required to formulate, develop, coordinate and implement policies and guidelines governing the designated funding appropriation portion of major programs.
  • Monitor the execution of the approved operating budget to assure that funds are properly allocated and are being obligated and spent in a timely and effective manner.
  • Recommend adjustments within budget line items in response to changes in programs, staffing levels, and/or funds availability.
  • Exercise budget controls through review and approval of the obligation and expenditure of funds to include payment of personnel salaries, travel, and expenses.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of budget requests, consider unforeseen factors in development and production, shifts in project direction and emphasis, and/or requests not included in planned programs, and explore alternative sources of funding.
  • Prepare documents needed to process budget estimates, requests for supplemental appropriations, requests for reprogramming apportionments, and allotments from higher headquarters.
Requirements
  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
  • One year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
  • The duties of this position require submission of, on an annual basis, OGE 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
  • Selectee must meet Practitioner requirements for BUSINESS - FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (BUS-FM) certification within 60 months as of entrance on duty.
  • The incumbent in this position is required to have a Level 1 Certification in Financial Management (FMC01).
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
