Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at CrossMed Healthcare Staffing. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Cherokee, Iowa, with a 36-hour workweek and 12-hour shifts. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Iowa.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment as needed.
