We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Automation Specialist to join our team at FTSi.Tech. Key Responsibilities- Design and Develop Automated Test Scripts: Create and maintain automated test scripts for new and existing features using various automation tools and frameworks.
- Implement Effective Testing Strategies: Identify and implement the most effective testing strategies for different types of applications (web, mobile, API, etc.).
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop test plans that cover functional, regression, performance, and security aspects.
- Define and Document Test Scenarios: Define and document test scenarios and test cases based on project specifications.
- Execute Automated Test Cases: Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify and report defects.
- Provide Clear Communication: Create and maintain test reports, track defects, and provide clear communication on testing progress and results.
- Research and Implement New Tools: Research, recommend, and implement new testing tools and technologies to improve automation processes.
- Improve Automation Framework: Continuously improve the existing automation framework and tools.
- Participate in Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality assurance process.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: Bachelor degree in computer science or related field and 6+ years of relevant work experience or master degree and 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong Knowledge of Automation Tools: Strong knowledge and work experience with automation testing tools like selenium/geb using Java, Gradle.
- Database Queries and Test Data: Good understanding of database queries and ability to gather test data independently.
- Web Applications and API Services: Good knowledge of web applications, API services; prior domain exposure to eCommerce would be plus.
- Troubleshooting and Application Tuning: Strong troubleshooting and application tuning experience.
- Desired End-to-End Test Automation: Desired end-to-end test automation skill set comprising GUI, Data, API, XML/JSON, webapp level validation.
- Agile/SAFe Framework and JIRA/Confluence: Exposure to Agile/SAFe framework and usage of JIRA/Confluence or similar tools would be plus.
- Playwright Automation Suite: Experience working with Playwright automation suite is a plus.
- Databases and Groovy Scripting: Knowledge of Databases such as Oracle, PostGres desired; Groovy scripting would be a big plus.
