Job Title: Press Operator

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct visual inspections of components and assemblies to identify quality defects such as scrap marks, rust, burrs, and lamination.
- Assess parts for quality issues and ensure they meet specified standards.
- Perform measurements on parts to verify compliance with specifications.
- Execute first piece inspections of set-up parts as per Quality Inspection Instructions or supervisor directives.
This is a full-time, hourly position within our Press Department, reporting directly to the Press Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Capability to write basic correspondence.
- Proficient in presenting information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
Mathematical Skills:
Competence in basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division across various units of measure, utilizing whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, as well as interpret bar graphs.
