Banking Professional

Mercantile Bank is seeking a skilled Banking Professional to provide exceptional customer experiences and build long-term customer relationships. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for understanding customer needs and providing banking solutions that meet their unique requirements.

• Provide personalized banking services to customers, including account management and financial planning
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial goals and objectives
• Stay up-to-date on banking products and services, including lending and investment options
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales and referral goals
• Participate in community activities and events to promote Mercantile Bank and build relationships with potential customers

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in needs-based selling and customer service
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in retail banking is preferred

This position works banking hours Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, with some Saturdays required. Community activities may require evening and weekend hours, and day travel is required for meetings and training.
