Bottle Packing Specialist

Job Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring the quality of containers by visually inspecting them for defects and packaging them according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Inspect containers for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Package containers according to customer specifications.
• Make cartons for packaging finished containers or assist other coworkers in making cartons.
• Apply glue or tape to cartons properly.
• Grind containers that do not meet quality standards (if applicable).
• Remove contaminants from containers before grinding (if applicable).
• Maintain a high degree of cleanliness in the production area.
• Clear jams on downstream equipment and restart.
• Perform housekeeping tasks in accordance with Third Party regulations.
• Assist coworkers as needed.

Experience Requirements

• High-school graduate or equivalent GED.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in the English language.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must be able to lift up to pounds above head frequently, and pounds occasionally.
