The Department of Family & Community Medicine is seeking a Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med-Peds physician to join our team as a Clinical Fellow in LGBTQ+ Health.

The Sawyer Pardo Fellowship for LGBTQ+ Health aims to train physicians to be leaders in health care for LGBTQ+ and gender expansive individuals through clinical excellence, scholarship, and advocacy for and with LGBTQ+ communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a LGBTQ+ focused patient panel at the UC West Chester Family Medicine Residency Program.
  • Provide direct independent clinical care with ongoing mentorship as needed from the Program Directors.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within clinical practice.
  • Engage in community-based participatory research on LGBTQ+ health outcomes.
  • Participate in education initiatives in health equity and inclusion in medical undergraduate and graduate education.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.)
  • Completion of residency in Family Medicine or Med-Peds.
