Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON):

  • Supervise and allocate nursing tasks effectively.
  • Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations and formulating care strategies.
  • Assess the performance of the nursing team and suggest enhancements.
  • Conduct patient rounds and resolve any issues raised.
  • Oversee the training and development of nursing personnel.

Qualifications for the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON):

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care, ideally in an ADON role.
  • Must hold a valid REGISTERED NURSE (RN) license in the State of Illinois, in good standing.
  • Proficient in medical software and equipment, particularly PointClickCare.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
